ACDC Metals has begun field activities at its Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project located in Nevada, US, aimed at supporting the site’s upcoming maiden drilling campaign.
The company’s field programme began following the grant of an environmental permit for drilling from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
A permitted 2,500m reverse circulation (RC) drill programme is planned. It will target extensions of gold-silver mineralisation at the Pegasus Zone and include the first drilling at the 3 Shaft Zone.
According to ACDC Metals, the Pegasus Zone holds historical mineralisation, including assay results such as 25m at 2.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold in hole PC-34A.
At the 3 Shaft Zone, historical mining activity and recent surface samples, including a reported 14.9% copper result, have also been noted by the company.
To fine-tune drill positions ahead of the campaign, a controlled source audio magnetotellurics (CSAMT) geophysical survey has started.
The CSAMT work, being undertaken by KLM Geoscience, covers 12 line-kilometres across the two target areas and is scheduled for completion in November 2026.
The survey is intended to refine targets previously outlined by aeromagnetic and radiometric surveys.
Civil contractors began improving access tracks and building drill pads for both the Pegasus and 3 Shaft zones in the week starting 2 November 2026.
These preparations are expected to finish within November 2026, allowing the planned drilling activity to proceed as intended in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Mount Jackson is located within Nevada’s Walker Lane, which has a history of gold and silver production and ongoing exploration.
ACDC Metals has engaged FTE Drilling USA to conduct the drilling programme. 15 drill holes have been approved, providing flexibility once the CSAMT survey results are interpreted.
ACDC Metals CEO Tom Davidson said: “We are pleased to be underway in the field at the Mount Jackson Project as we prepare for our maiden drill campaign. The CSAMT survey will sharpen the targets defined by our aeromagnetic and radiometric survey.
“Our maiden drill programme will then build on the historical results reported on 30 April 2026, aiming to confirm historical mineralisation, test its extents and validate our understanding of the system.”
