The trade volume on Türkiye’s spot natural gas market increased by 26.9% to approximately 3.3 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, according to data from Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to about 2.6 million liras.
On Tuesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 17,054.20 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 194,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 157.5 million cubic meters of natural gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 44.92 liras at 2.04 p.m. local time (1104 GMT) on Wednesday.
