The metal recycling start-up led by former BHP chief financial officer Peter Beaven has selected the NSW Hunter Valley as the site for its first commercial plant after raising $12 million from investors.
The federal government’s Clean Energy Finance Corporation was among those participating in the funding round for Renewable Metals, which seeks to produce nickel, copper, lithium and other metals by recycling old batteries.
