Resouro Strategic Metals appointed Daniel Kuhl as an independent non-executive director.
Kuhl brings approximately 25 years of international mining and resources experience spanning capital allocation, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, technology, and operational transformation.
He most recently served as Senior Advisor and Country Lead for Oliver Wyman in Santiago, Chile.
In that role, he advised mining and industrial executives across Latin America on strategy, artificial intelligence transformation, and productivity.
Kuhl previously managed Amazon Web Services’ relationships with several of its largest global mining and metals customers.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade in senior roles at BHP and Vale.
At BHP, Kuhl chaired BHP Coal’s Investments and Contracts Committee, which approved approximately $7 billion in capital projects and contractual commitments.
At Vale, he supported more than $5 billion in growth and M&A opportunities.
Kuhl previously advised Resouro on its Novo Mundo gold project and therefore brings existing familiarity with the company’s assets.
