GS Securities has partnered with market intelligence provider Acuity Trading to offer clients AI-powered trading signals, market sentiment analysis and event tracking within its online trading platform, as brokers seek to provide investors with more research tools alongside execution services.

The agreement gives verified GS Securities clients access to Acuity’s suite of market intelligence products through the broker’s client portal and MetaTrader 5 desktop platform. The tools cover foreign exchange, gold and equity indices, combining technical analysis, news monitoring and explanations of market movements.

The package includes Trade Intelligence, Event Intelligence and Market Intelligence, as well as Market Companion, an AI-powered tool designed to explain potential drivers behind price changes.

Trade Intelligence uses Acuity’s AnalysisIQ technology to combine artificial intelligence with analysis from technical analysts. Each trading idea includes an entry level, stop-loss, price target and an explanation of the underlying rationale. Ideas are created or updated every 10 minutes, according to the companies.

Tools will help traders evaluate market conditions

The integration allows clients to review potential trading opportunities and their supporting analysis without leaving the broker’s existing platform. The tools are intended to help traders assess market conditions, rather than automatically execute trades or provide personalised investment recommendations.

Event Intelligence tracks economic releases, central bank decisions and company earnings, while Market Intelligence analyses news and sentiment to show how perceptions of an asset may be changing. Market Companion combines price movements, news, macroeconomic data and relationships between assets to offer explanations of what may be driving a market.

AI-generated material is clearly labelled, the companies said, allowing users to distinguish it from other analysis.

Andrew Lane, chief executive of Acuity Trading and MarketReader, said traders needed to understand the context behind market information.

“Our partnership with GS Securities puts market explanations, event intelligence and analyst-supported trade ideas in front of its clients, helping them form their own view of what is happening in the markets,” Lane said. “Market Companion adds to that context by explaining the potential drivers behind price movements. Together, these tools are designed to support research and individual judgement.”

For GS Securities, the deal adds a research layer to its MetaTrader 5 offering as online brokers compete to provide clients with more comprehensive trading services. Access to signals, news and event calendars could help traders bring different sources of market information together in one account.

David Freeman, chief executive of GS Securities, said clients wanted to understand not only price movements but also the events and analysis behind them.

“We are giving our clients better tools, not promises,” Freeman said. “Every idea shows its entry, stop-loss, target and reasoning, so clients can judge it for themselves and decide what fits their own circumstances and trading.”

The partnership also reflects the growing use of AI in financial-market research, where tools are being deployed to process news, identify patterns and summarise information that traders might otherwise need to gather from multiple sources. The usefulness of such systems depends on the quality of their underlying data and the ability of users to assess the analysis critically.

The companies emphasised that the products provide general, non-personalised market analysis and do not constitute investment advice or a personal recommendation. Trading remains risky, and previous performance or market patterns are not reliable indicators of future results.

The tools are available to verified GS Securities clients through the broker’s client portal and MetaTrader 5 desktop platform.
