He explained that a document’s electronic file can carry a hidden history of edits or prior details that aren’t visible on the page itself, and that the platform’s role is limited to exposing that evidence.

“We are not telling a broker whether a document is fraudulent. Our system’s task is to surface the available evidence within an electronic file so the broker can make a better-informed decision,” Steven said.

Client documents stay on the broker’s device

A key design decision behind Fraud Finder was ensuring client documents never leave the broker’s own system.

Steven said this was deliberate from the outset.

“We made a deliberate decision from day one that Fraud Finder would never need to take possession of a broker’s client documents,” he said. “The document stays on the broker’s device. We do not receive it, we do not store it and we cannot see it.”
