Tata Steel shares rose 3.1% to their day’s high of Rs 184.20 on the BSE on Thursday, November 13, after the company reported a substantial fourfold increase in its consolidated profit for the September quarter. The profit surged to Rs 3,183 crore, up sharply from Rs 759 crore in the same period last year.
