Here’s your first look at Sam Ryder and the London Palladium cast of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Tim Sheader’s production, which started its life at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, plays at the London Palladium until 5 September with an extension playing at Theatre Royal Drury Lane from 16 October to 9 January 2027.
Starring alongside Sam Ryder as Jesus is Tyrone Huntley as Judas, Desmonda Cathabel as Mary Magdalene and David Thaxton as Pontius Pilate.
The production also features a rotating cast of performers playing the role of King Herod including Jesse Tyler Ferguson (20 Jun – 11 Jul), Richard Armitage (13 Jul – 1 Aug & 8 Aug), Boy George (3 – 15 Aug, except 8 Aug), Layton Williams (17 – 29 Aug) and Julian Clary (31 Aug – 5 Sep 2026)
