The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) this week issued a formal directive, requiring all Cyprus Investment Firms to calculate and submit their annual regulatory fees for the previous year.
The regulatory body confirmed that the relevant form has been officially updated to include the specific fee structures for 2025 and is now available on its website.
All Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs) are strictly obliged to complete this revised calculation form to determine the exact amount owed for their annual operations.
To ensure an accurate assessment, firms must complete the designated grey cells in fields 1.5 through 1.7 while following the provided technical instructions, the commission stated.
The submission process requires that firms include an extract from their audited financial statements that clearly discloses the total turnover for the 2025 financial year.
Evidence of the annual fee payment to the regulator must also be included as a mandatory annex during the filing process.
The completed and duly signed document must be sent to the commission electronically via the official online portal to meet regulatory compliance.
Investment firms must ensure their submissions are finalised within four months of the end of the financial year, meaning the strict deadline is April 30, 2026.
Payment of the required fee must be settled simultaneously with the digital filing of the paperwork, the regulatory announcement clarified.
Any firms requiring additional information or technical support are encouraged to contact the accounts department via the dedicated email address, the commission concluded.
