“Brokers are already having conversations with their clients that extend well beyond the mortgage. Whether someone is buying a home or financing a new car, insurance is often part of that conversation. By bringing Allianz into Partner Connect, we’re giving brokers another way to support clients at key moments while creating value from the relationships they’ve already built,” Lam said.

Lam said administration is the main reason referral opportunities are missed.

“One of the biggest barriers to referrals is the additional administration involved. When brokers have to switch systems, re-enter customer information or complete separate forms, it’s easy for an opportunity to fall by the wayside. By integrating Allianz referrals into BrokerEngine Plus, we’re helping brokers act on those opportunities when they arise, without adding unnecessary steps to their day,” he said.

AFG will support the rollout with broker education, webinars and in-platform communications. These are intended to help brokers identify relevant insurance referral opportunities and use the new integration.

Allianz joins a program that has steadily expanded since AFG launched its Partner Connect referral program. Partner Connect consolidated AFG’s existing spot and refer programs into a single platform, with Broli Finance and Marketplace Finance among its launch partners.
