The INHFA hasve expressed concern with the decision the EU are making which is causing a major threat to the future of Irish farming and rural communities.
INHFA President Phelim Molloy says that since Ireland joined the European Economic Community (EEC) in January 1973, there is no doubt the country has progressed and there is little doubt that the EEC, or now the European Union (EU), has played a major part in this development.
However, while the progress has been nothing but extraordinary there is a growing concern that we may have reached the limits of this progress and could be heading into more difficult and uncertain times.
