Faysal Bank, Bank Alfalah and At-Tahur securities begin secondary-market trading for qualified institutional buyers
Three debt instruments with a combined value of Rs27.8 billion were listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) during the first quarter of FY2026-27, expanding the bourse’s offerings across conventional and Shariah-compliant debt securities.
Bank Alfalah accounted for the largest of the three listings, with Rs20 billion worth of rated, unsecured and subordinated Tier-2 Term Finance Certificates (BAFLTFC9), according to a PSX notice issued on Tuesday.
Faysal Bank listed Rs7 billion in rated, unsecured and subordinated Sukuk (FABLSC), while At-Tahur Limited added Rs800 million through a rated and secured Sukuk (PREMASTSC).
The three issues have a combined value of approximately $100.34 million.
PSX said secondary-market trading in all three instruments has commenced, providing Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) with additional investment options in the domestic debt capital market.
The new securities span both conventional and Islamic financing structures and include instruments issued by banking as well as corporate entities.
Debt capital market instruments allow issuers to raise funds from investors for a specified period, typically carrying fixed or floating returns, with the principal repaid at maturity.
