Motilal Oswal Financial Services’ 0.30% equity shares changed hands in a block deal on June 08. Motilal Oswal Foundation offloaded 14.55 lakh shares, or 0.24% of Motilal Oswal, and Motilal Oswal Healthcare Foundation sold 3.65 lakh equity shares via block deals. These shares were bought entirely by HDFC Life Insurance Company

The shares changed hands at an average price of Rs 842.50.

Motilal Oswal Q4FY26

Motilal Oswal Financial Services reported a 25% year-on-year rise in operating profit at Rs 661 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, compared with Rs 527 crore in the corresponding period last year. 

The asset & private wealth management business posted an operating net profit growth of 48% YoY to Rs 338 crore.

In asset management (including alternatives), net profit surged 63% YoY to Rs 249 crore in Q4 and 55% to Rs 798 crore in FY26. Total AUM increased 32% YoY to Rs 1.76 lakh crore, driven by mutual fund AUM growth of 31% and private alternatives AUM growth of 104%.

For FY26, the market share of net mutual fund flows was 6.6%, compared to an AUM market share of 2.7%. SIP inflows increased by 78% YoY to Rs 16,479 crore, holding a market share of 4.7%. The company finalised IBEF Fund V at Rs 8,350 crore and achieved the first close of its private credit fund at Rs 1,700 crore in January 2026, with a target total raise of Rs 3,000 crore.
