New Delhi: HDFC Bank has announced the allotment of 3,83,322 equity shares to its employees following the exercise of stock options and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) under the Bank’s Employees Stock Options Scheme (ESOS). The allotment was completed on April 29, 2026, and formally communicated to the stock exchanges.
With this issuance, the paid-up share capital of the Bank has increased from 15,39,51,52,584 equity shares of Re. 1 each to 15,39,55,35,906 equity shares of Re. 1 each. The move reflects HDFC Bank’s continued commitment to employee ownership and long-term value creation through equity-based incentives.
The Bank informed both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited about the development as part of its regulatory disclosure requirements. The communication was signed by Ajay Agarwal, Company Secretary and Group Head – Secretarial & Group Oversight at HDFC Bank.
