When it comes to advocating for women, Elizabeth Brasher not only has the heart and desire to serve, but also believes in empowering, engaging and educating women in wealth management.

Brasher serves as a wealth advisor for WA Asset Management working with clients in all seasons of their lives and guides them toward financial success.

“When it comes to finances, women may seek a more unique perspective than men,” Brasher said. “They may also tend to take a different approach to their financial education, as well as life events that can impact their financial future. These types of events may include divorce or the death of a spouse. It is my job to come alongside these women and help them through the grieving process, life and finances.”

Brasher and WA Asset Management’s female advisors meet women where they are financially in hopes of leading them to a better financial future.

“We want to empower you while reducing the stress associated with your financial future so you may achieve your goals,” Brasher said. “We get to know you and learn your financial goals. Your goals become our goals. We will educate you and help you achieve financial security, while simplifying your financial com-plexities. We can also work with third parties, such as attorneys, to help navigate through dif-ficult legal necessities while avoiding costly investments.”

Brasher grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and now lives in Birmingham with her husband and two children. She attended Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina where she earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration. Her major was trust and wealth management and her minor was financial planning. In 2012, Brasher decided to further her education and earned her juris doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

Prior to joining WA Asset Management in 2022, Brasher served in a Trustee role and practiced law in the focus area of trust and estate litigation, labor and employment, healthcare compliance, real estate, contracts and various other negotiations. Brasher works with individuals and families to implement financial planning, estate planning and investment planning. Other services include private client services, institutional consulting and family office.

Brasher is also the Practice Leader of Women’s Wealth Connection of WA Asset Management, which is led by women advisors that combine the expertise of financial, investment, tax and estate planning service areas into a specialized bundle of services tailored for women.

“We want individuals to know who we are and hear our hearts,” she continued. “This is why we created the Women’s Wealth Connection. We’re here to support you and provide customized solutions at every step along the way.”

This includes a comprehensive financial planning approach through collaborative investment, tax, estate and financial objectives, local and highly attentive team of advisors, a tailored portfolio and a disciplined, data-driven approach to investing.
