By India Today Web Desk: After trading on the lower side in the Indian markets yesterday, both gold and silver prices witnessed a hike on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, February 1.
Gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2023, stood at Rs 57,363 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a hike of Rs 150 or 0.26 per cent.
Similarly, silver futures, maturing on March 3, 2023, also recorded a jump of Rs 307 or 0.45 percent and were retailing at Rs 69,155 per kg on the MCX.
Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 57,190 per 10 grams and Rs 68,829 per kg respectively when the market closed on January 31.
