Kevin Nwamma, of Clarendon Road, is charged with conspiring to steal from the person of another and concealing, disguising, converting, transferring, or removing criminal property.
The value of cryptocurrency that was allegedly stolen between January 15 and July 18 is “unknown”, according to court documents.
However, they add that the second charge involved “making numerous flat purchases” using cryptocurrency which was criminal property.

Both offences are for the Greater London area.
The 25-year-old appeared in Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday (November 21) and was remanded in custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court scheduled for December 19.
Two other men, Hamza Bashir, 22, of Beverley Way, New Malden, and Anthony Ikenwe, 28, of Northdown Street, London, will also appear at the crown court over the same charges and were similarly remanded in custody.
