The business and assets of P&P Non-Ferrous and Bornmore Metals have been sold by administrators to a newly formed subsidiary of Tewkesbury-headquartered Deca Group.
Rick Harrison and James Clark of Interpath were appointed as administrators and completed the pre-pack sale of both companies to Deca Non-Ferrous Alloys on Friday, 13 March.
Brierley Hill-based P&P and Blackburn-based Bornmore Metals are multi-metal stockholders and processors of non-ferrous metals and stainless steels. The companies had been in the process of merging into a single entity as part of a wider strategy to return to profitability.
All 24 staff will transfer to Deca Non-Ferrous Alloys, a Deca Group subsidiary funded by Praetura Ventures and Les Litwinowicz. Both businesses will continue trading under the same names and maintain operations at their respective sites in Brierley Hill, Bristol, and Blackburn.
Rick Harrison, managing director at Interpath and joint administrator of P&P Non-Ferrous (Stockists) and Bornmore Metals, said: “We are pleased to have secured this transaction, which safeguards the brands and preserves the jobs of all 24 employees.
