The 277 metre-long vessel came from Fawley in Hampshire and arrived in the Dorset port yesterday, Friday, February 6, at 8.29am.
The modern Suezmax‑class vessel, built in 2018, is a Maltese‑flagged crude oil tanker which is 48 metres across the beam, with a summer deadweight capacity in the region of 157,500 tonnes and a gross tonnage of just over 81,000.
Operated within the Eagle/AET tanker fleet, she is designed to shuttle crude oil on long‑haul routes between major refining and export hubs, and is powered by a large Wärtsilä main engine delivering more than 14,000 kW.
Recent tracking data lists ports such as Rotterdam, Madre de Deus in Brazil and US Gulf terminals like Corpus Christi and Houston among her regular calls, underlining her role in global oil trades.
